What do you like best about the leadership team?
Not profit driven. Appreciate work life balance.
They all work to achieve the BCIT strategic objective, they show respect, appreciate your contribution, and encourage you to pursue your career goals.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Being actual leaders - they dont use metrics and are scared to upset the unions
slurping the soup properly !
they just need to resign all together
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Work from home, pension and a lots of vacation.
extended health, great vacation days, pd funds
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Being lied to by the executive team - being treated poorly by the 3rd rate educators (who could never get hired at ubc or sfu)
The pay we receive is not currently meeting the rate of inflation. It costs almost double to sustain our daily routines and our pay doesn't change much. What would make a difference is if our salaries were automatically adjusted to the rate of inflation.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are nice, friendly and positive.
They are a cohesive collaborative team and all work enthusiastically to achieve the organization's strategic objectives.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The level of education and world experience of staff makes it for a culture of understanding and appreciation of the values everyone brings. BCIT empowers people and works diligently to embrace diversity and inclusion and everyone feels that they can reach their potential, no matter their background
