Betterworks Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Base salary and Stock options.

Review from Sales Dept

Free baby diapers for nee parents

Review from Product Dept

Salary based on geographic locations are fair and the equity is good

Review from Executive Dept

Flexible work timings and paid leaves

Review from Engineering Dept

A good base wage is the most important thing, Unfortunately with high inflation this is being erroded.

The best part is PTOs and good fixed pay

Review from Engineering Dept

Competitive salary, Fridays off (love this!), subsidized payment for monthly internet, flexible remote work schedule (love this also)

Review from Engineering Dept

We have a very fair bonus plan.

Benefits are good, fair salary and bonus plan.

Review from Sales Dept

What I like best as a salesperson is uncapped commission

Review from Sales Dept

good salary with bonus. healthcare paid for depending on which plan

Review from Sales Dept

The best part of my comp package is that it isn't an issue. It isn't anything that would drive me away from a great company culture,

Review from Executive Dept

overall benefits and flexible time off

Review from Customer Success Dept

Bonus plan. Base could be higher.

Health care and PTO are very solid!

Review from Engineering Dept

I would say the salary is competitive.

Review from Engineering Dept

The PTO we all have at Betterworks.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Medical benefit premiums covered by the company. Second: Flexibility

I am well paid. The bonus plan is also excellent.

Review from Engineering Dept

My insurance, which is quite critical for me.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I joined the company accepting a little lower comp than I expected only because I loved the culture, product and that we have a great team onboard. This opportunity had provided great exposure and I can learn a lot to progress in my career but comp raise hasn't satisfied me compared to my effort.

Review from Engineering Dept

inflation for rent and food is taking a toll on my savings

Review from Admin Dept

I do not feel undervalued, I know we are on a budget. When we are doing well again it would be nice to have some form of a retirement fund. When I factor the matching 401K I used to receive at my last job ( not as EQ focused as here ), I was making less with a title boost here than I was prev

Review from Engineering Dept

The pay could be more competitive.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Based upon the market benchmarking and peer evaluation from other companies I am getting 28% underpaid which is a huge gap. There is no career succession planning or even a discussion. The new hires are getting paid 15 to 20% higher and there is no revision for us

the designation and salary are not as per expected

Review from Engineering Dept

the designation and salary are not as per expected

Review from Engineering Dept

Not every role is directly linked to customer satisfaction/sales. I wouldn't say this is making one's role/performance undervalued, but more of the fact where indirect roles/departments also need to be recognised/rewarded to drive motivated workforce.

Review from HR Dept

Timely appraisal cycle should take place

Spending time at Betterworks, makes me feel like there should be some market adjustment about compensation. We all know that the market has changed drastically in the past year. Things have got expensive in general and compensations should to be adjusted accordingly with the market.

Review from Engineering Dept

Salary is not paid as per the market standards, it should be based on the designation and skillset.

Review from Product Dept

To be paid fairly for the work I perform. I am asked to do more everyday for the same compensation.

Review from Admin Dept

They should provide equal salaries to all the employees. I mean the same level of experience and at the same level and doing the same job but getting different salaries so it should not be there.

Review from Engineering Dept

Compensation/Salary hikes are not on par with the market. The hikes & Bonus announced incentivise to look outside for opportunities.
