What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Provide free water to employees. It's inhumane not to do so. Raise pay rates and get rid of go puff nonsense.
Have corporate closely oversee the day to dayboperations of the district HR and store managers. There is a flawed system st pasadena and someone is going to get hurt. From ladders being left out, to employees smoking weed and drinking on the job, to homeless atacking staff. Corporate please step in.
Higher ups don't seem to care to much about employee retention or longevity.

Complete lack of care about employees well being. Complete lack of a cogent management strategy.

I, along with others of the management staff and associates, wonder what we will be blamed for at the start of each shift. Regardless if the tasks were accomplished the day prior there is always something that irritates the store manager. This results in a one on one with no positive reinforcement.
