James S. Mackey — Executive Vice President of Executive Operations at BlackBerry

Mr. James S. Mackey, also known as Jim, serves as an Executive Vice President of Executive Operations at BlackBerry Limited and served as its Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning since January 2014. Mr. Mackey served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Open Text Corporation from October 11, 2012 to December 13, 2013. He served as a Co-Manager at NetWeaver Fund, L.P. at SAP Ventures and NetWeaver Fund, L.P. Mr. Mackey served as the Head of Corporate Development at SAP AG. He has spent most of his career executing highly successful corporate strategies and acquisitions that drive revenue growth. Most recently, he lead corporate development efforts at SAP AG, where he developed and lead the company's global merger and acquisitions group. He was instrumental in expanding SAP's vision and footprint by investing in market-leading technologies that enabled SAP to expand into new markets. Under his leadership, SAP completed more than 40 acquisitions, including three of the largest software acquisitions in the last five years. Mr. Mackey is an attorney and public accountant by training, he has also served several positions as Corporate Legal Counsel providing advice on mergers and acquisitions and securities matters.
