Mr. Matthew Ball, also known as Matt serves as Head of SMB at Singtel Optus Pty Limited. Mr. Ball has been the Managing Director of Australian & New Zealand Division at BlackBerry Limited (formerly, Research In Motion Limited) since July 12, 2012. Mr. Ball served as the Head of Local Marketing Operations at RIM. He joined BlackBerry as Marketing Director in 2011. He served as Marketing Manager at telecommunications company, WorldxChange Communications and then on to Hutchison, where he helped to launch the '3' brand in Australia, before moving on to various roles at rival operator, Vodafone. He served as group manager of marketing and communication at the Xbox division of Microsoft and it was from there that he was poached to take on BlackBerry's marketing role. He completed a Bachelor of Business from UTS was as a marketing graduate with an Optus telecommunications reseller. Mr. Ball completed his MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
