They have integrity. They're always asking what's best for our members, not just for the company. But they also expect employees to deliver to an incredibly high standard. Best of both worlds!
fairness, empathy, listening, autonomy, friendly
Flexible work schedule and flexible work place - definitely provides for a better work/life balance.
Cheap(ish) health insurance compared to the market rates.
What is frustrating is that once you obtain a position you are effectively stuck at that pay rate (+~3% COLA year increase) unless you change positions. The Low, Midrange and Hi range of pay grades change yearly. A new-hire may start at same rate as a 5+ year employee in the same position.

WFH is a blessing especially with many companies forcing return to office and BCBST not doing so. It has some drawbacks but main benefit is lower stress and more flexibility for the employee. Lowers overhead for the company as well. Win-win.
