The resort I was at did not have the best Guest Services director which was the ultimate decison for me leaving. As my medical notes and restrictions where not followed along with my school restrictions and set schedule that was agreed upon during my interview was never followed.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening, respecting, ethics, management, policy's, leadership, and accountability.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Team unification and team building activities with managerial change.
What did you like most about the interview process?
How respectable the interviewer was and how informative they where.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Maintenance is bad, housekeeping is horrible, and miss communication between departments specially sales is horrible
What are some of the best things about your team?
The best thing about my team are my co-workers but, do not include any managers or some supervisors.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Managers do not care about you. They are never available to speak with you and you are underpaid for your work load along with horrible schedules.
