What did you like most about the interview process? It was quick and I was only interviewed by one person which made it a lot less stressful.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company? The staff on shop floor generally help each other. Some key holders do not pull their weight.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?Issues raised to the owner are ignored and brushed under the carpet. These include freezers and fridges that are malfunctioning and an incidence of cockroaches. Listen to the dangers and deal with them to protect staff and customers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation? We are not paid sick pay, even though we are entitled to it. We have been told that regardless of how I'll you are, if you can stand, you should be at work. We are not given the staff needed to cover busier periods. We are continually criticised.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?Trusting their staff and not spying on them 24/7. Recognising some staff member's loyalty.
