The staff on shop floor generally help each other. Some key holders do not pull their weight.

Constructive Feedback From Booker Group Employees

  • What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Issues raised to the owner are ignored and brushed under the carpet. These include freezers and fridges that are malfunctioning and an incidence of cockroaches. Listen to the dangers and deal with them to protect staff and customers.

We are not paid sick pay, even though we are entitled to it. We have been told that regardless of how I'll you are, if you can stand, you should be at work. We are not given the staff needed to cover busier periods. We are continually criticised.

Trusting their staff and not spying on them 24/7. Recognising some staff member's loyalty.
