Review from Operations Dept

It is fair & we have bonuses.

Review from HR Dept

salary is more than average level for our region

I like the performance based bonus

Review from HR Dept

Health insurance and accommodation benefit

Relocation and sign on bonus

Review from HR Dept

A great balance of base pay, performance related bonus, and stock. It compares positively to the market for the role and country I'm in

Review from HR Dept

compensation review every year to align on market conditions and performance; booking benefit reimbursement

Review from HR Dept

My salary is reviewed every year, and raised according to my performance. Also, I get very good discounts to use Booking products.

Review from HR Dept

the best part is the salary

Review from HR Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The inflation rate is rocketing high in Amsterdam, I am paying half of my pay in rent very small things, for an instance travel card, most of the companies have it for free and we need to pay 116 euros every month Insurance, why can company pay on our behalf

Review from Operations Dept

If the payscales were the same in Amsterdam and in Manchester for each role. Using 'cost of living' salary is no longer a reasonable excuse to have the same role paid differently based on country of residence/cost of living.

Review from HR Dept

Better base pay. I've been with the company for over 8 years and if I were to change employer, I would be paid so much more. But I like Booking, and I know my built up knowledge and experience is worth a lot, especially when people come and go within the department.

Review from HR Dept

I have alot more experience and when being interviewed was not made aware of more senior roles in which I can perform

Review from HR Dept

For the amount of years of service in the company my salary is relatively low.

Review from HR Dept

Regional parity, keeping in mind matrix & team leadership role

Review from HR Dept

I feel that the cost of living is higher at Amsterdam. Once you relocate, you relocate with family and that is a massive expense. I believe schooling or house lease should be a part of benefits the company should take up for people moving from different continents. It's a good retention scheme.

Review from HR Dept

Comapred to the market, for the same position/ job description, Booking.com compensation is less vs some competitors. We even had past colleagues leaving due to this and headed to the competitor

Working hours are higher than what is the norm in my country. Looking at my number of reports, areas of responsibilities as well as my experience and comparing it to similar jobs, I am not being paid fairly. Other companies have perks like extra vacation, company phones etc.

I was not told about the 14 salary payments per year in Spain. Making less net income than last employment which paid considerably less

Review from HR Dept

market competition, we are underpaid compering with pother companies (in recruitment) new people are joining getting more salary and higher roles with less or same experience than myself

Review from HR Dept

I am the lowest paid people manager in my extended team because I have climbed the ladder internally, I have to leave and come back to get a more fair salary (and probably a sign-in bonus)

Review from HR Dept

people in team have less experience and more senior, do not feel the projects I work on have instant impact therefore not valued as much

Review from HR Dept

The workload for the role does not meet the job level of responsibility

Review from Operations Dept

The external market value of my role has dramatically increased.

Review from HR Dept

I have nothing to add here
