Jeetu Patel — Senior VP of Platform & Chief Strategy Officer at Box

Mr. Jeetu Patel has been the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President of Platform at Box, Inc. since August 2015. Mr. Patel leads the Box Platform organization, driving the strategy of the platform business and developer relations. He also oversees the corporate strategy and development organization for Box. He served as General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Syncplicity, Inc. Mr. Patel served as Chief Technology Officer of Information Intelligence Group at Dell EMC since July 2010, where he was responsible for developing the division's Post-PC era multi-year strategy. Prior to leading Syncplicity, Mr. Patel served as Chief Strategy Officer and CMO of EMC's Information Intelligence Group (IIG). He was responsible for orchestrating and driving cross-category product vision, growth strategy, innovation agenda, cloud computing and big data initiatives. Additionally, he headed Worldwide Marketing for IIG, where he was responsible for product marketing, thought leadership, as well as competitive, vertical and solutions marketing. He also a 17-year information management veteran. Mr. Patel served as President and Executive Vice President of Doculabs, Inc. As one of Doculabs' Principals, he was instrumental in its growth and success over the past 15 years, setting direction for it and working with hundreds of Global 2000 organizations. The majority of his time was spent working with CIOs, general counsel and other key line-of-business executives, assisting them in developing technology strategies to address their content- and process-related challenges. He has decades of expertise accelerating fast-growing, billion-dollar enterprise software companies in highly competitive markets. He has been a Director at HackerRank since May 2017. He served as a Director of Association For Information and Image Management International, Inc. (AIIM) since May 2005. A recognized industry expert in the enterprise content management (ECM) market space, he is quoted in a number of the leading industry publications and provides frequent industry updates and trend analysis as a keynote speaker for many of the major industry events. Within the community of technology suppliers, Mr. Patel is acknowledged by major infrastructure providers such as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, EMC, Open Text and others for his expertise and apprehension of the macro trends operating in the ECM space. As a recognized thought leader in the ECM market space, Mr. Patel is also conversant with members of the venture community. Mr. Patel holds a B.S. in Information Systems from University of Illinois at Chicago.
