When you register your account, you will receive 20 points automatically. Above that, you can get an additional 10 points for confirming your email and 5 points for every day you log in to Brainly.

But there is an even better way to earn points: answering questions! Every time you post a great answer, you will receive 50% of the points that were allocated to that question. Write a particularly awesome answer and you might also be awarded the Brainliest Answer, giving you an additional 25% of the points pool!

Moderators

also receive 5 points per moderation action performed, such as deleting bad content, asking for a correction, or approving a question or an answer.

QUESTIONS

There are two main ways to add a question:

1. You can start by using the search box to find the same or similar questions on Brainly. If you decide to add your own, just click on the button Ask Your Question.

2. On the right side of the main page, you can add your question by clicking the green button Ask Your Question.

If you need to add special characters, mathematical equations, a picture, or an attachment, you can use the tools that are on the bottom of the question box.

ANSWERS

To start answering, you just need to click on the question youre interested in and click on the Add it Here link.

You can also filter your search by subject, so that you only see relevant questions.

The option to delete your account can be found in your Profile Settings under Privacy. Click on the box labeledI want to delete my account.

Usernames can only be changed in extreme cases, like accidentally using your real name or giving out identifying information.

If you need to change your username, please use the contact form to speak with us directly.

Quite simply, you will not lose access to your content if you decide to cancel your subscription. Your Brainly account will remain active; however, you will immediately be downgraded to the basic plan once your subscription is cancelled. As a Brainly Basic user, you will not have an ad-free experience and your access to content will be limited.

Brainly Plus is currently offered in two different subscription plans.

TheSemi-Annualsubscription plan, you'll be charged $18 every 6 months, unless you choose to cancel. This averages out to $3 per month.

The Annual subscription plan is billed for $24, one time per year unless you choose to cancel. This averages out to $2 per month.

Charges from your Brainly subscription will appear on your credit card statement by one of our payment providers Stripe, Zuora, or Paypal.

You can cancel your subscription in your account settings.

Moderators are chosen by Administrators,who are mostoftenemployees of Brainly. Moderatorscan moderate content on our website because they are trusted members of the community and have demonstrated that they deeply understand the sites guidelines and communication policies.

Moderators are also helpers. They assist and guide users through the site and explain the rules and features of the site.

Our mission is to give you, awesome students of the world, the power to share your knowledge with other students in a safe and fun place.

To keep this well-oiled educational machine running smoothly, we've defined a set of Community Guidelines. These practices will help you understand what type of sharing (i.e. questions, answers, comments, and messages) is allowed on Brainly, and what type of content is frowned upon and may be reported and removed.

Your Personal Information should never be included in your questions, answers, comments, or messages.

Keep content quality high.Our goal is to ensure that questions, answers, and comments do not discourage or intimidate other people on Brainly. We strive for all content to be of high quality.

Dont spam. Posting links to your social media profiles, or advertising other sites and products justisn'tokay here.

Dont post questions or answers thataren'trelated to learning.Posting joke questions, silly answers, or answering questions just to get points doesnt help you or other Brainly users to learn sodon'tdo it.

Also, were all about making friends on Brainly, but when it comes to asking personal questions, message a friend instead!

Dont cheat. Posting questions from a quiz, test, or any other assessment is not allowed. Brainly is here to help you with your homework, but youre on your own with tests, or any assignments that your teacher has asked youto do on your own.

Dont plagiarize. Copying answers from another website, user, or any other source is strictly forbidden.

Dont link to other sites, either. If you want to cite a source in your answer, just include its name.

Dont post answers that you know are wrong. You should always strive to help other students... not confuse them!

Always answer thoughtfully. When you answer questions, try to be as clear and thorough as possible. The goal is to help someone else learn, so theyll need a great explanation in order to understand.

What happens if you break the rules?Content that violates our Community Guidelines may be reported to and removed by Moderators and Admins. Violations of this policy can result in a warning, comment blocking, or a ban.

The first time a user breaks the rules, they will typically get a warning. However, if unacceptable behavior continues, users will be locked out of using Brainly for various lengths of time depending on the severity of the infringement. Time locks range from 15 minutes to up to 2 days and, in serious cases, Brainly has the right to delete a user account indefinitely.

Great answers don't just answer the question, but they also help members understand whyand how you arrived at your answer. A great answer is a clear, user-friendly and uses positive language without anything extra to distract from the answer itself.

Be clear, relevant, and helpful Address the question that was asked as if you were sitting side-by-side with the other person, explaining each step as you go - be a tutor.

Focus on teaching Don't just give an answer; teach problem-solving and explain concepts so that students are empowered to answer similar questions in the future.

Start with a summary Answers that begin with a clear, brief summary help students quickly decide whether your answer will help them.

Think about the future Good answers are helpful to both the original asker and to anyone else who has the same question in the futurewrite for both!

Add formatting Bold and/or use i talics to put emphasis on the important or quoted parts of the text. Organize your answer in paragraphs. That way, it will be much easier to understand your answer and see everything clearly.

Include attachments Students learn in different ways; set them up for success! Add some pictures to illustrate your point. Always explain in words as well, though.

The community agrees that the following behaviors distract from effective l earning, so please:

Dont copy-and-paste text from other sites Your answers should be original. You can use information found on the internet to produce your own answers, but you cannot copy exact piecies of text.

Dont spam or advertise Brainly is for learning, not promoting! An answer is not the place to advertise your own site.

Dont use offensive language Brainly is a safe learning environment for students of all agesleave profanity and inappropriate language at the door.

Our Quarterly ranking tracks the number of points you earned in the last 3 months. Each day the numbers get recounted, with points from the new day getting added and points from the oldest day getting subtracted. For example:

Imagine that today is March 15th. The Quarterly ranking adds up all of your points earned between January 15th and March 15th. Lets say you had scored 100 points on January 15th (3 months ago). Tomorrow (which is March 16th) youdon'tget a chance to answer any questions and therefore earn 0 points. Now the quarterly ranking counts points earned between January 16th and March 16th, which means that the 100 points you scored on January 15th no longer count.

Its not easy to keep a top Quarterly ranking, but its worth it and means that you are doing an amazing job of helping out the Brainly community!

For every day you place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in any of our daily, weekly, or monthly rankings, you will get a certain amount of points as an award! Below, you can see how many points you can receive for each rank and place.

On Brainly we have four types of rankings:

Daily

Weekly

Monthly

Quarterly

Each ranking is based on the number of points earnedwithin a certain time period.

Daily, Weekly, and Monthlyrankings compare the number of points scored on each day, week, or month respectively.

Weekly rankingsreset at midnight between Sunday and Monday, while Monthly rankingsreset at midnight between the last day of the month and the first day of the new month.

The Quarterly ranking doesnt reset at a specific time, but simply counts points from the previous 3 months from whenever you check it.

All rankings are updated every minute, so you can see how you stack up in real time!

Ranks show Brainly users how active you are in the community. You need to accumulate a certain amount of points (in total) and Brainliestanswers (in the last 30 days) to keep moving up the ranks.

No matter how many points you use for a question, each person who answers will receive only half of that amount. If you choose one answer as the Brainliest Answer, that users gets an additional 25% of the point pool as a reward. And, to thank you for giving feedback on your answers, you will get 25% of your points back as a reward.

Lets illustrate this with the following example. The user CL3V3RG4L posts the question Whats the capital city of the US?. She allocates 40 points to this question. Raj39 and SweetSussy both answer her question. This means that both Raj39 and SweetSussy will receive 20 points each. CL3V3RG4L then decides to award the Brainliest Answerto SweetSussy, who gets 10 points as a reward (25% of the original). CL3V3RG4L will also get 10 points back for having picked the Brainliest Answer.

There are various ways to earn points on Brainly, which you need to use in order to ask questions on the site. Every time you want to ask a question, you will need to choose a specific amount of points to spend. The more points you give away, the greater your chances of getting an answer right away!

When a Moderator deletes a question or answer, an automatic response is sent stating why the content was removed. Some key rules are:

Questions must be about a school subject and should be as clear and objective as possible.

Answers cannot be copied from another website, source, or user.

Answers cannot contain links to other websites.

Answers must be correct, complete, and written in your own words.

Comments about a question or answer should only be placed in the areas reserved for comments, which are marked on the site.

Questions and answers are only removed if they do not meet our posting guidelines or violate one of our site rules. Since your question or answer might help other students, we aim to preserve all content posted on the site which can be accessed by anyone in the future who might need the information for a school assignment or project.

Your questions and answers can help others struggling with the same topics!

By adding an attachment, you help other users understand your question and provide additional information so that their responses are accurate. Feel free to add graphs, tables, or images to your questions.

Here are some tips to help you to get a great answer:

Increase the number of points assigned to your question. This can motivate some users.

Check to make sure your question is not too complex or hard to understand. Break it down into simpler parts!

Search for other questions in Brainly related to the subject. Just type what you want to know in the search field, click the magnifying glass, and choose the result that best represents what you are looking for.

You have several options for protecting your profile. When you click Edit Profile you can change all of your preferences. Here you can decide what youd like to be visible or hide (such as rank) and what youd like to limit or block (such as messages or friend requests).

You can choose which notifications youd like to receive by clicking Send Info to Email. You can also modify or delete your profile picture to ensure your privacy. Make sure to choose one that you are comfortable with.

There are several ways you can become more involved in the community.

The biggest way that you can help is to provide high-quality answers. Members are on standby and often need immediate responses to help with an assignment or project.

If you have a history of providing quality answers, you could be noticed by our Administrators or Moderators who might invite you to become a Moderator or member of another program. You can always send us a message to let us know that youre interested in becoming a Moderator or to take part in another group. Or you can contact an Administrator or Moderator directly through our private messaging system or public boards.

A Brainly Administrator has tools that allow them to make important edits and modifications on the site. Administrators are typically employees who have the ability to change your nickname, delete your account, give you a special rank, change your status from a regular user to a Moderator, check to see if your moderated actions are being reviewed correctly, see your contribution history, block IPs, and more.

Profile pictures are only deleted in the most extreme circumstances: if they contain explicit or offensive imagery or content.

It is unusual for a profile picture to be removed. Since we are an educational website, we like to see images that are friendly and fun.

When you are banned it means that you broke one of Brainlys rules or guidelines. Moderators can choose for how long you will be blocked, ranging from 15 minutes to 48 hours.

Administrators also have the option of permanently suspendingyou(used only in repeat or serious offenses). When you are suspended you cannot use Brainlys services or access the website.

There are 2 ways to look for questions that were posted in the past. You can either look for:

older questions posted by a particular user (you or another Brainly member), or

a specific question that was posted by any user

If youre looking for questions posted by a particular user, first go to that users profile page and click on the Questions Asked tab to see a list of questions theyve posted. The most recent will be listed first.

If youre looking for a specific question, try using our search feature to find it. Youwon'tbe disappointed!

On Brainly, we have a group of members called Moderators who perform actions like:

asking users to correct answers

deleting answers and questions that do not adhere to posting guidelines

warning members who continually break the rules.

This is to ensure that all the questions and answers on Brainly are of the highest quality.

These actions are part of the moderation process and are frequently referred to as moderation actions.

When a Moderator decides to delete your question or answer, he or she will send you a reason for the action. The most common reasons for deleting questions or answersare:

Questions that are not related to a school subject, or are not clear and objective

Answers that are copied from other websites, sources, or users

Answers that are incorrect or contain errors

Comments that are added in improper places, such as in the answer fields

Moderators are also responsible for helping members understand how Brainly works!

Moderators are given special tools so that they can moderate content on Brainly and help other users. Theymaynot always answer the most questions or have the highest Brainly rank.Moderators are there to ensure that all of our content is the best it can be, and to assist you with using the site.

ABrainly Geniushas a history of high-quality answers. Brainly Geniusesare there to help you get accurate and quick answers to all of your school-related questions!

If you believe a Moderator has treated you unfairly or is not abiding by site guidelines, pleasemessage us using the contact form.

If you believe you are the victim of bullying by a Moderator any another Brainly member, please contact us immediately. You may use our contact form, or reach out to the Community Manager directly via our private messaging system.

If you feel something was moderated incorrectly without sound judgement or a good reason, please let us know. We have a zero tolerance policy for bullying and take all reports seriously.

Becoming a Trusted Helper is the first step to becoming a moderator. If you're active on Brainly and provide quality answers to help other users, you may be eligible to become a TH.

To apply to become a Trusted Helper,you can apply using the following application page: http://trustedhelpers.brainly.com/

Moderators have the ability to remove low-quality or erroneous content, delete profile pictures, ask for corrections to answers, report problematic users to Administrators, confirm correct answers, and make other high-level edits on the site.

Some Moderators can also delete user accounts and ban users for longer time periods.

Your Brainly Plus subscriptionwill automatically renew each month, or other time period based on the type of subscription you have,unless you do the following prior to your next renewal date.

Visit your Account Settings onBrainly and click the CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION button.

If you cancel your subscription, you will have access to your subscription benefitsuntil the end of the current billing period.

Globally, 80% of Brainly users get an answer in less than 10 minutes.

If it is taking longer, check to make sure your question is posted in the correct subject and that it is clear and error-free. Also, the Brainly community is wide and diverse. Sometimes you need to catch the right person at the right time, which may not be the exact moment you post your question.

If your question does not receive at least one response within 14 days, it is automatically deleted and your points are given back to you.

Avoid having your question deleted by waiting at least four to six hours before asking it again.

Dont forget to check to make sure your question is clear and contains all the necessary information for someone to post a response.Adding more points may also increase the likelihood that your question will get answered.

Two hours after the first answer is posted, a question is blocked from further responses.

If the existing answer is wrong or contains inappropriate content, report it to our Moderators.
