Vickie L. Schray — Executive Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy at Bridgepoint Education

Ms. Vickie L. Schray has been a Executive Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy at Bridgepoint Education, Inc. since October 22, 2016 and served as its Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy since December 3, 2012 until October 22, 2016. Ms. Schray served as a Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Bridgepoint Education, Inc. from February 2011 to December 3, 2012. Ms. Schray responsible for formulating strategic and proactive regulatory/public policy positions on education issues as they affect Bridgepoint Education, Ashford University and University of the Rockies. She is a 13-year veteran of the U.S. Department of Education. Her most recent duties were as Senior Policy Analyst in the Office of Postsecondary Education, overseeing community college programs and initiatives. Before that, she was Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Higher Education Programs. She also worked in support of the Secretary and Under Secretary of Education. Ms. Schray began her academic career in 1983, teaching in Portland, Ore. Ms. Schray earned a M.S. at Portland State University and a B.S. at Oregon State University.
