Executive Bio

Mr. Lorenzo Longo serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Physical Layer Products at Broadcom Limited. Mr. Longo is responsible for Broadcom's physical interconnect and automotive Ethernet products. Prior to joining Broadcom in 2000, Mr. Longo was a Co-Founder of Newport Communications and served as its Vice President of Engineering. He also held senior engineering positions at Rockwell Semiconductor Systems, Newbridge Networks and Bell-Northern Research. Mr. Longo earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University in Kingston, Canada and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University at Ottawa, Canada.
