Executive Bio

Mr. Mark Brazeal has been the Chief Legal Officer of Broadcom Limited since March 27, 2017. In this role, Mr. Brazeal is responsible for the legal, governance and compliance functions across Broadcom. Mr. Brazeal served as the Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President of IP Licensing at SanDisk LLC from December 1, 2014 to May 2016. Prior to joining SanDisk, Mr. Brazeal served in various positions of increasing responsibility at Broadcom Corporation from April 2000 to September 2014, most recently as Senior Vice President and Senior Deputy General Counsel in charge of all commercial, operational, IP licensing and litigation matters. Prior to joining Broadcom Corporation, Mr. Brazeal was an attorney in the transactional and IP groups with the law firms of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, P.C. in Palo Alto, California from 1998 to 2000, Yuasa & Hara in Tokyo, Japan from 1996 to 1997 and Howrey & Simon, LLP in Washington, D.C. from 1993 to 1996. Mr. Brazeal obtained his B.A. in American Government from the University of Virginia from 1986 to 1990 and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law from 1990 to 1993.
