Mr. Taher G. Behbehani has been Chief Digital & Marketing Officer of BroadSoft, Inc. since October 2014. Mr. Behbehani served as the Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer and Executive Vice President of Arbitron Inc. since April 2009. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Nextreme Ventures LLC. He is a seasoned technology executive and tech entrepreneur. He has extensive operational, product strategy and marketing expertise and is a superior end-to-end customer experience, which requires a seamless process from messaging initial benefits to post sale engagement. Mr. Behbehani served in a broad range of leadership positions that cut across M&A and business development, product management, business transformation and digital marketing. Mr. Behbehani served as Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at UTStarcom Holdings Corp. since June 2, 2003. Mr. Behbehani served as Vice President of Corporate Development and managed Sourcefire's M&A activities and partnerships in Europe, Japan and China of Sourcefire, Inc., which is being acquired by Checkpoint Software. Mr. Behbehani served as Vice President of Business Development and strategy of UTStarcom Inc. since June 2, 2003. Mr. Behbehani was responsible for establishing and managing UTStarcom's relationships with it's existing blue-chip carrier customers and technology partners worldwide. Mr. Behbehani drove UTStarcom Inc.'s strategy in technology investments, Mergers and Acquisition activities and OEM alliances. Mr. Behbehani served as the Vice President and General Manager of wireless solutions for CommWorks Corporation. He served executive positions at BlackBerry, American Express and Time Warner Cable. Mr. Behbehani founded several start-ups and is a key investor and advisor to numerous market disruptive businesses. Mr. Behbehani served as the Vice President and General Manager of wireless solutions for 3Com's CommWorks Corporation, where he oversaw products, research and development, marketing, revenues, profitability, technical communications and management functions. UTStarcom completed the acquisition of selected assets of CommWorks from 3Com on May 27, 2003. He joined CommWorks in September 2002. He served as Vice President of Advanced Technology for 3Com's local area network (LAN) infrastructure division and Vice President of business development for 3Com's business connectivity company (BCC). He was a member of the corporate executive team responsible for identifying new technology platforms and spearheaded the formation of a BCC patent licensing team. He joined 3Com in 2001. Mr. Behbehani helped launch several companies in the high technology sector. He was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ioWave, one of the first wireless infrastructure vendors to implement synchronous code division multiple access (CDMA) products for wireless local area networks (WLAN) and wireless broadband deployments. Earlier, Mr. Behbehani worked on Latin American telecommunications deregulation and privatization projects. He serves as a Director at Icanbuy, Corp. He serves as a Director of International Packet Communications Consortium. He served as a Director of Technocom Corporation and Infogation Corporation, Inc. In the early 1990s, he advised multinational telecom companies, financial institutions and government agencies on satellite communications, spectrum allocation and deployment of broadband services. He is a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Mr. Behbehani has a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and an Ms in Electrical Engineering from Yale University. He has also completed post-graduate work in business management at Yale University.
