Mr. Nicholas S. Cross, also known as Nick, has been an Executive Vice President at Cabot Corporation and has been its President of Performance Chemicals since March 7, 2017. Mr. Cross has been President of Europe, Middle East & Africa Region at Cabot Corporation since January 10, 2017. He served as the President of Performance Chemicals & Specialty Fluids Segments at Cabot Corporation. Mr. Cross served as President of Performance Materials and Advanced Technologies at Cabot Corporation since November 18, 2014. He served as President of Performance Materials Segment, Advanced Technologies Segment, Europe, Middle East and Africa Region at Cabot Corporation and served as its Senior Vice President from March 2012 to November 2014, President of Advanced Technologies Segment since January 2012 and President of Advanced Technologies Segment-Specialty Fluids and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Region. Mr. Cross served as General Manager of Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Region of Cabot Corp. since September 14, 2009. Mr. Cross served as Vice President of Cabot Corp. from November 2009 to March 2012. Prior to joining Cabot in 2009, Mr. Cross was employed at BP p.l.c., where he held a variety of management positions primarily in BP's chemical businesses as well as in its oil and gas business. He was with BP for almost 25 years, living and working in Europe, Asia and North Africa and served as its Vice President of International Natural Gas Liquids. He held senior management roles in BP's chemicals, oil and gas businesses, including chief operating officer of a chemicals joint venture based in Jakarta, director of business development for BP's Exploration business in Cairo, director of Chemicals Strategy during the spin-off of BP's olefins and derivatives and country manager in BP's gas business in Italy. Mr. Cross graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge in 1984 with an MA in Engineering and Management.
