Mr. Richard M. Ausick, also known as Rick, serves as a Division President of Famous Footwear at Caleres, Inc. since January 2010 and served as its Division President of Retail since January 2011. Mr. Ausick served as Division President of Famous Footwear at Brown Shoe Co. Inc. from January 2010 to January 2011. He served as the President of Bennett Footwear Group, LLC, a Division of Brown Shoe Co. Inc. since June 29, 2006. He served as President of Brown Shoe New York Whole Sale of Brown Shoe Co. Inc. from July 2006 to January 2010. He joined Brown Shoe Co. Inc.'s Famous Footwear division in 2002, as Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer and since that time, he served as a key member of the leadership team responsible for repositioning the 950-store chain. As such, Mr. Ausick directed Famous Footwear's merchandising to branded-fashion assortments, achieving increased purchase ratios, lower inventories and faster merchandise turns. Before coming to Famous Footwear, he served as Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager for the 114-store Shopko chain since November 1999. Prior to joining ShopKo Chain, he served as Vice President of Merchandising at Home with the T. Eaton Company LTD from August 1998 to August 1999. From 1984 to 1998, he was employed by Burdines, a division of Federated Department Stores, including Senior Vice President of GMM Home, Vice President of Planning Distribution and Merchandise Vice President-Footwear, where he had direct responsibility for buying and merchandising all women's, men's and athletic footwear offered by Burdines. Mr. Ausick held various positions with Marshall Field and Company from 1977 to 1984.
