Mr. Edwards holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree (Great Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelors of Laws degree (Honours) from the University of Toronto. He has been awarded several honorary Doctor of Laws degrees from prominent Canadian universities, including from the University of Calgary in 2004, the University of Saskatchewan in 2011 and the University of Toronto in 2013.
