Executive Bio
Mr. Richard Lyon, also known as Rick, has been the Senior Vice President of Commercial Real Estate Banking of Capital One Financial Corporation since March 2008. Mr. Lyon leads one of the core business units of Capital One's Commercial Banking division and actively manages and strategically grow its commercial real estate activities, providing financial services to the real estate development and investment community across Capital One Bank footprint. He serves as an Executive Vice President of Commercial Real Estate Business at Capital One Bank (USA), National Association, a subsidiary of Capital One Financial Corporation. Mr. Lyon is a 30 year banking veteran. He previously served at Wachovia, where he led its real estate banking efforts in the Northeast region of the U.S., which included offices from Boston to Washington, DC. A seasoned and successful leader, he led numerous real estate, corporate and middle market banking groups throughout his career at Wachovia.
