Mr. Betterley's hiring was designed to strengthen Plato Learning Inc.'s finance and accounting organization and for succession planning within those areas. He served as Senior Vice President of Allegro Biodiesel Corporation (Formerly, Diametrics Medical Inc.) from October 1996 to August 2003 and its Chief Financial Officer from August 1996 to August 2003. Prior to this, he worked with Cray Research, Inc., and financial positions including Chief Financial Officer from November 1994 to 1996, Vice President of Finance and Administration from November 1993 to November 1994 and Corporate Controller from March 1989 to November 1993. Mr. Betterley is a Certified Public Accountant and began his professional career at Deloitte & Touche.
