Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Approachable, accessible and they work bloody hard but also don't take themselves too seriously.
Normally in a company of carsales size you wouldn't have much interaction with leaders. But our Exec team is not only visible but really approachable too. They all show up fortnightly for a company wide Zoom call and keep us updated on what's happening in the business.
Approachable. Down to earth. Willing to listen and learn.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Employee Share Plan recently introduced which gives everyone an opportunity to purchase shares and be invested in the long term growth - and carsales matches the shares that we buy which is cool.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Total package shouldnt be a market average, instead bases on input and merit
What are some of the best things about your team?
The number one thing would have to be how friendly everyone is. Also everyone really cares about the work that they're delivering and they want to be there. We're all invested.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
For a tech company we need imprived communication systems in place
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people - everyone is willing to help you out, they're supportive and genuinely just want the best for one another.
The friendliness of everyone. If you have a question or a problem there's always someone willing to help you out. For a big company it still has small company vibes and I love that.
Great people who enjoy working together.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Less micromanagement and more team work
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interaction I had with the person who was going to be my manager - I could tell straight away that we would have a good working relationship. Also I had no idea how big carsales was until I went to the interview.

Working from home, flexibility with office hours
