Mr. Edwin D. Johnson, also known as Ed, has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of Casella Waste Systems Inc. since December 3, 2012. Mr. Johnson served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Casella Waste Systems Inc. from July 2010 to December 3, 2012 and its Principal Accounting Officer until December 3, 2012. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Waste Services Inc. since March 12, 2007 and served as its Chief Accounting Officer since December 31, 2008. Prior to joining Waste Services, Mr. Johnson served as Chief Financial Officer of Expert Real Estate Services Inc. He served as Principal Consultant of Corporate Resurrections. He served as Executive Vice President of Mdcm Holdings Inc. (formerly Mortgage.com Inc.) since January 2000 and its Chief Financial Officer since November 1998 and also its Senior Vice President from November 1998 to January 2000. Mr. Johnson served as Worldwide Chief Financial Officer of Attwoods PLC., from October 1984 to January 1995 and its Finance Director from 1992 to 1995. From June 1998 to October 1998, He served as a Principal of JR Capital Inc. From March 1996 to June 1998, he served as Chief Financial Officer of MasTec, Inc. From January 1995 to March 1996, he served as a Private Real Estate Consultant. Mr. Johnson received an MBA from Florida International University, his BS in Accounting and Administration from Washington & Lee University and earned his CPA in Florida.
