Expectations vs compensation does not align and there is distinction between high performer vs low performed. Person making noise gets the visibility irrespective of what value they bring to the organization.

Setting realistic targets that takes the economy & geopolitical issues into account rather than arbitrary YOY increases based on unrealistic market demands. The market cannot see what's coming tomorrow, our leaders need to be more conservative about what they agree to.

I verified how much people made in a similar role at mine and other sites and made the request to be brought to that level. As I have not been brought up to that level, knowing direct reports make as much as I do, and having the discussion directly, I am still currently underpaid.

I don't feel undervalued but would like to see a re-evaluation of my salary to match job function.
