Primarily, listening to employees. The feedback that was received during global town halls in regard to low scores on the previous employee survey was, quite literally, "I don't believe that". Second, site-level support for major projects, such as ERP system roll-outs, FDA audit preparation, etc.

My role is cross functional; my direct team is great to work with. When I look at having to work with operations, where every aspect of their lives is extremely micromanaged, it becomes very difficult to have a conversation let alone drive to conclusion a change, concern, or daily task.

Knowledge of processes and procedures is not always strong. Many rely on the knowledge of a few rather than improving their own knowledge.

My team does not get along well with me and I am excluded in many discussions and work related things.

The environment I currently work in can be very negative. I often have coworkers come to me who are very emotional after leadership has poorly addressed an issue with them. Since there are rarely conference rooms available, confrontational conversations are often had in the middle of the cubicles.

There is a very clear focus on budgets that need to be met monthly that can override the real goal of patient first. This is driven widely and frequently by management at all levels. it leads to confusion on what the priorities really are.
