Genuinely caring and kind individuals who go above and beyond to live the mission, vision, and values of nursing.

They are very understanding and helpful.

They are always supportive and allow room for growth personally and professionally. Great work life balance.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Absolutely everything needs to improve

All leadership does is to get rid of staff they see as "problematic". Perhaps they should take a look at themselves and identify their own unfit staff.

Very employee oriented and motivated.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

Pension, benefits begin the day you start, a million ways to save money if you explore the benefits page.

Good health insurance and more

Pension plan. Generous health benefits.

Benefits and pension are the best.

Health and 403B as well as pension benefits are excellent.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

Being paid a fair income

Growth is difficult within Cedars, and even though compensation is good, it could better reflect the work we do.

Promotions are given to those with louder voice, that's all. No experience or competence required. Just the ability to kiss up.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Team Reviews

The people, for sure. They just genuinely care so much.

Very transparent in terms of performance.

The company has a diverse group of people with different skills that we can tap into.

The diversity and different skillsets bring value to the projects.

They all shoot for wellness

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

HR schedules meetings just to show off their faces and pretend they are in control of something.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

The CEO and executive team members strive for diversity, equality, and fairness at the work place. The company cares deeply about quality of patient care.

Helping our patients overcome sickness

They treat people fairly, no racial discrimination and etc.

The continued desire to make patient care excellent and the primary focus

The most positive thing --- besides the people I work with --- is the ability to work the way I feel most effective, not bound by micro-management or someone else's idea of how I should approach my tasks.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

Company needs to do better on valuing the employees. Management promotes fear and competition among employees, creating anxiety and stress. Yelling, favoritism, and unfair treatment are rampant among EIS directors and some VPs. We need to do better to show respect for those who are the producers.

Remove the psychopaths in HR. Allow unionization, since HR is all for the organization's rights.

Additional money and leadership from other persons.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Interviews Reviews

The staff who helped set everything up were amazing.

Talking to team members to see whom I'd be working with

Meeting different levels of people and learn how I would fit in as an individual contributor. I also learned a lot about team members through the team group interview.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interviews Reviews

Cedars-Sinai is so concerned in keeping their diversity results for the purpose of receiving the Federal funds that they end up hiring based on diversity, not competence. Frustrating.

What makes you most happy at work?

Outlook Reviews

My patients, fascination with my specialty field, and working with brilliant people on my team and within the interdisciplinary teams

Receiving my salary every 15 days.

Incredible quality of care. Nationally and internationally ranked. A real asset for Los Angeles

Technical environment that the company provides is second to none. It is challenging but the company executives provide a lot of support and resources to be on the cutting edge of technology.
