I worked for the organization before ChristianaCare took over and then stayed with them briefly after they acquired Union Hospital. I preferred working for the organization when they were Union Hospital. Management was more effective and less political.

Diverse challenging rewarding and get paid well.

We work hard for little money its not enough to survive in this economy

Its ok, i also dont know the CEO so not a valid question to ask about/answer on my end

Supportive and not micro managing.

I much preferred the CEO when it was Union Hospital. He was an excellent and hands-on communicator as was my immediate supervisor.

Honesty and transparency and a vision for the futue

Open communcation with direct manager

Their inherent ability to mess everything up and not listen to anyone.

Making decisions ans sricking to thwm

Recognition, effectively retaining employees--asking themselves why the turn over is so high. They don't seem to care about work/life balance

Their attitudes and stop talking about the staff on the work floor.

Vacation of more than the average business.

I would like to have more affordable healthcare benefits.

If we were given more bonuses

we deal with a lot during the day and only get told when we make mistakes. Hard work and dedication goes unnoticed and good workers get discouraged and stop trying

I should receive another raise because its too much physical work here and we always under staffed.

Pay minorities much less compared the other groups

They are supportive of each other.

In offce job it is noce. Working at befside is horrendous

The executives need to be in touch with the frontline employees and stop making them do more with less for less

The staff and management more positive environment.

listen to the needs of staff

Employees are not happy as we don't feel being appreciated by management. We are told by the director that we can be replaced if anyone wants to leave. We are not treated as professionals but as numbers.

I already know some of the staff from my externship

I do not remember it was long ago

It was quick & only interviewed by one person

you have to know someone to get hired in another department

Some of the folks that interviewed me knew me from before.

Any interview i had for a promotion I never received feedback. I was told by HR that a decision was made and to deal with it. HR doesn't care about feedback.

When i am caught up

Co-workers, teamwork, work with other departments

Caring for our patients and each other.

lack of appointments, providers not calling patients back, providers not sending refills in on time, referrals and auths not being done

Tons of stress. No communication from upper management. Raises are non existent. Lack of upward mobility.
