Mr. Scott A. Anderson has been a Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mixed-Signal Audio Products at Cirrus Logic Inc.(also know as Cirrus Logic K.K.) since October 2007. At Cirrus Logic, Mr. Anderson oversees its Mixed-Signal Audio division. He served as an Executive Vice President, President and Chief Executive Officer for Semiconductor Products Sector (SPS) of Motorola Inc., since July 1, 2003. At Freescale Semiconductor Inc., Mr. Anderson served as an Executive Vice President of Motorola. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Freescale Semiconductor Inc. from 2004 to January 18, 2005 and served as its Chief Executive Officer since July 2003. From 1996 to 1999, he served as Corporate Vice President and Managing Deputy Director of Motorola's Japan Semiconductor organization. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of SPS Spinco Inc. He served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Transportation Systems Group of SPS from November 2000 to July 2003; Corporate Vice President and General Manager for Transportation Systems Group of SPS, from February 1999 to November 2000; Corporate Vice President SPS Transition Management Organization from September 1998 to February 1999. Since 1991, Mr. Anderson served as Vice President and General Manager of the Customer Specified Integrated Circuits Division of Semiconductor Products Sector and Since 1996, Managing Director of its Semiconductor Products Division and Deputy General Manager of Nippon Motorola Ltd. He joined Motorola SPS in Austin in 1978 as a microprocessor product engineer and served in a variety of engineering and management positions. From 1999 to 2003, he served as the General Manager of the Transportation and Standard Products Group. Mr. Anderson headed the Motorola group, which supplies chips to the automotive industry and other markets, representing nearly half of its semiconductor sales last year. He serves as a Director of Semiconductor Industry Association. He served as a Director of SPS Transition Management Organization from September 1998 to February 1999. Mr. Anderson earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Utah, where he graduated magna cum laude.
