Mr. Tom Berghoff serves as Senior Vice President of Technical Services Product Management & Global Technical Support at Cisco Systems, Inc. Cisco is widely recognized for industry-leading customer satisfaction and support delivered through its technical assistance centers (TAC), partners, and online communities. Berghoff also oversees the development and pricing of Cisco's portfolio of technical service offers and solutions. Previously at Cisco, he led the Americas region for Cisco Technical Services, where he focused on sales enablement, acquisition integration, new business model and solution support, and expansion into hyper-growth markets. He joined Cisco Services in 2007 as Vice President of the Advanced Services Contact Center practice (now Customer Collaboration). In addition, he was responsible for a portfolio of strategic initiatives/investments, including the Cisco Developer Network, Solutions Engineering, Program and Knowledge Management, and Implementation Services. Prior to Cisco, he had a 20-year career at Sun Microsystems, where the executive positions he held included Senior Vice President of Global Advanced Services and Vice President of Global Support Services Marketing and Business Operations. He started his career at IBM working in data center operations, production management, and operations planning. He holds bachelors of science degree in business administration with a major in Finance and dual minors in economics and speech communications from California State University Humboldt and a master of business administration degree and a post-graduate certificate in executive management from Santa Clara University.
