Mr. Michael Piispanen, also known as Maureen Calabrese, Mike, has been the Chief Process and Operations Officer of Cision, Inc. since May 2, 2017. Mr. Piispanen served as Chief Operating Officer at Cision, Inc from April 19, 2017 to May 2, 2017. Mr. Piispanen leads the development, enhancement and optimization of business operations, program and project management, business process engineering and M&A activities. He served as the Global Head of the Public Relations and Digital Media verticals at Nasdaq within the Corporate Solutions business unit. Mr. Piispanen has nearly 30 years of experience across consumer, software, FinTech and pharma industries. Over the last 15 years he has served in a number of roles within Nasdaq's Corporate Solutions business guiding and leading that businesses journey from a small start-up through dozens of acquisitions, mergers and carve-outs. Mr. Piispanen holds an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson and a BS in Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
