Not a lot after 5 years in company
I really like that management seems to have my back, they are also really great at supporting me and giving me the tools I need to succeed.
There are some very powerfully strong leaders that know what they're doing. They do not have a condescending mindset and are more than happy to allow individuals to make decisions for the business.
They have a vision for the future
Literally nothing, they have no idea how operations run and they don’t ca
Better communication. Better transparency. Better planning, especially long term. More trust and appreciation in people doing the jobs they were hired to do because they are experienced.
Actually leading, giving direction, allowing for open discussion without negative consequences
Focus on a platform and complete it. Every year or two a new platform is designated as the new go-forward. Countless time and resources are wasted year after year.
Communication appreciation compensation diversity worklife balance
Replace all of them asap.
Cision has a very competitive PTO policy. and a large number of corporate holidays for a US based company. Time off is easy to come by and encouraged. Insurance benefits are also very competitive.
They offer unlimited PTO, in theory.
Definitely got to be the Flexible Time Off policy
The very high base salary
The comp package was fair.
Lowest end of the spectrum for similar positions at other companies. We have opportunities for commissions but it's extremely low and acts as little incentive. And they're pushing sales on us all the time.
Better pay, less demand for OT, less lying about our staffing situation.
Tied to unrealistic expectations and strung out timelines
Pay fairly if you value your high performers.
It's less about compensation and more about leadership.
I work with a small team of seasoned employees who care about how they do their job, who support their clients and support each other.
I've built real rapport with my team and we all know that we can count on each other to get things done. Almost everyone is very friendly, quite knowledgeable, and approachable,
for a select few its is how we as s team watch out for each other
The people are really friendly and helpful. They know the company is terrible
Everyone is super quick to answer any questions I have, or assist me with anything I'm having trouble with. We just all seem to mesh really well too, which isnt always easy when working remotely.
Work as a team rather than being selfish. Our goal is to ultimately sell Cision products, but you sabotaging others doesn't help.
Skill training is nonexistant. Department communication doesnt happen.
They should hire smart leadership not manipulative salesmen
I get to work from home.
The culture at Cision is one of the best I've ever experienced in my working life; they're very LGBTQIA+ friendly, they take potential problems in the workplace very seriously, everyone really seems to get along and respect one another as people, overall it's pretty fantastic.
We work from our home offices
I'd that it's apparent that they're doing the work to provide a culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion. It definitely seems to be a priority.
Employees are appreciated. No one is a cog in a machine.
Need to sold to a longtern commited owners
Practically everything but mostly management
Replace all newly hired leaders
Get rid of the PE and entire leadership team
They need to pay employees competitive salaries
There were a series of 3 interviews ending with a panel interview with 3 people, the questions were relevant and fair, the experience overall was very good.
That the people were welcoming and open to my ideas. (Note that these people soon left the company after they fired our head of the department in an effort to bring "new blood".)
informal and not too corporate
I liked that I got to speak with my future team members and ask them questions about the role. They were able to provide me with honest insight into what the day to fay tasks would look like.
It was very swift. I had 3 calls and got the offer.
If you are going to lay off managers because of a merger wait to hire the team
I like that it's interesting and challenging, I feel like I learn something new every day.
The people I work with are fantastic. They make everyday a joy. I also enjoy the actual work I do.
When I am empowered to solve a problem faster
Lack of help when needed. Confusing and aggressive sales tactics.
Doubt they interested in improving. They just hope we shut up and take it
Eliminating PTO and replacing it with Less Time Off (LTO), moving to much worse health insurance. Flatly lying to our customers, sales teams and ourselves about our staffing situation. It can be improved if Platinum Equity and Cision sell PR Newswire and let us be. Damage may be too much by now.
New ownership and new leaders
Get leaders who know what they are doing and arent egotistical
