How employees describe working at Cision

Cision has not compensated for inflation for American employees for the last 4 year, starting with Covid. Employee are making less, the company has laid off a number of personnel and abandoned infrastructure that helped produce product. Moral is at an all time low, and upper management seems absent

Not a lot after 5 years in company

There were a series of 3 interviews ending with a panel interview with 3 people, the questions were relevant and fair, the experience overall was very good.

Toxic work culture. No appreciation for our work or our time. Management changes their minds every week on what they want to do, and expect people to read their minds--meaning that they usually fail to communicate changes in a timely manner.

  • Ask what project you'll be working on and definitely look under the covers before taking an offer! If I had known the quality level of the code, I probably wouldn't have taken the job offer. Also ask who you'll be working with. There are language barriers and internet connectivity issues with some team members you'll be working with.
