How's the work life balance at TrendKite?
Great for a startup.
It's unhealthy. They have incredibly high, undefined expectations. There is a lot of pressure to perform, but little support. It's easy to get wrapped up in the "culture" and fell pressured to do more, more, more. Most sales people work from 7:45-5:15pm-ish and take their computers home at night to do more prospecting, emailing, etc.
Does TrendKite have any remote positions?
We have a London office, but we don't usually have remote only employees.
No, not in the sales department.
How does TrendKite make decisions around promotions?
Very pragmaticly, based on need. Many promotions from within though.
It's erratic. I worked there for 2 years, and never figured out what the requirements were for promotion. When I asked the management, they couldn't tell me either.
What's the work from home policy like at TrendKite?
There's not really one. Management prefers people to work together at the office. People are generally trusted to work from home when necessary, but have been asked to limit WFH days whenever possible.
