Mary Ellen Baker — Head of Business Services and Executive Vice President at Citizens Financial Group

Ms. Mary Ellen Baker has been Head of Business Services at Citizens Financial Group, Inc. of Citizens Bank, National Association since August 8, 2016 and serves its Executive Vice President. Ms. Baker is responsible for the technology, operations, information and corporate security, property services, vendor management and change management functions. She oversees strategic investments in technology designed to drive value, efficiency and collaboration across. She has an impressive background in leading technology and operations teams and managing major organizational change programs. She is a banking veteran with more than three decades of experience. She joined Citizens in August 2016 from PNC Financial Services, where she served as Executive Vice President of Enterprise Services, leading a wide range of efforts to improve the PNC bank's technology, controls and governance. In addition, she oversaw Information Security and built out PNC's cyber security team. She previously worked for Bank of America Corporation as Head of Enterprise Resiliency and Corporate Services and Head of Technology and Operations for the Consumer and Small Business Bank. In her career, she has led numerous strategic projects in the areas of technology and operations, including company-wide planning, new technology implementation and crisis response initiatives. She is active in a number of community and professional organizations, Ms. Baker earned her undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University.
