Bob Schmitt — Regional President of Northern California - Clear Channel Outdoor Americas at Clear Channel Outdoor

Mr. Bob Schmitt has been Regional President of Northern California - Clear Channel Outdoor Americas at Clear Channel Outdoor, Inc. since May 20, 2016 and Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings Inc. since May 21, 2016, overseeing the San Francisco and Sacramento markets. Mr. Schmitt provides insightful leadership in sales, real estate, public affairs, operations and finance. He has broad experience, across multiple industries, leading Clear Channel's strategic growth and operational excellence initiatives. He has over 17 years experience in the out-of-home industry. He served as Regional President at Clear Channel Outdoor, Inc. since 2016 until May 20, 2016. He served as President and General Manager for Clear Channel Outdoor San Francisco before 2016. Just prior to joining Clear Channel Outdoor, he spent 12 successful years with CBS Outdoor where his accomplishments culminated in being named West Coast, regional vice president, Displays Division. Before entering the out-of-home industry, he worked for over 12 years with Otis Elevator, a division of United Technologies, in multiple cities across the Southwest in sales leadership, sale training and executive management positions. He is a board member for the following civic and community groups; Bay Area Council, San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement and the Leadership Committee for the Bay Area Ad Council. Mr. Schmitt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and an M.B.A. from Purdue University.
