Executive Bio

Mr. Carlos San Jose serves as President of Clear Channel Outdoor Americas at Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings Inc. Mr. Jose served as Market President for Chicago at Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings Inc. Mr. Jose has over 25 years of sales and management experience in both Spanish and English-language media. He served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Telemundo ZGS Group, Orlando where he was responsible for all operations, maximized revenues and assisted to develop the market's top Spanish-language news team. Since June 2011, he served as Senior Vice President, Vice President and General Manager for Univision Television Group Chicago at Univision Communications Inc. where he also led the organization's financial success and the development of Chicago's top rated Spanish-Language news team, one that garnered 15 Emmy's during his two-year tenure. Mr. Jose has over two and a half decades of experience in various aspects of sales, management and brand leadership in the U.S. Hispanic market. Before joining Univision, Mr. Jose served as the Vice President of National Hispanic Sales at Citadel Media (formerly, ABC Radio Networks), where he has developed the network's U.S. start-up efforts for new project initiatives as well as all research, budget strategies, marketing and branding efforts since 2005. Prior to Citadel Media, he served as General Manager and Consultant at Azteca America's Chicago Affiliate (WOCK) and Senior Vice President at Radio Unica Chicago (WNTD), where he developed both stations' Chicago start-up efforts. Additionally, he served as an Account Executive for NBC Miami (WTVJ). He also served positions at Univision Chicago (WOJO) and Univision Miami (WLTV), where he was part of the team responsible for assisting in the development and launch of 'S??bado Gigante.' He started his career in radio at WINZ/WLYF/WHTT in Miami. He studied at Florida International University in Miami.
