What do you like best about the leadership team?
Communication open minded honest and helpful
Culture! Enthusiasm! Intelligence! Motivation! Devotion!
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to hire external in progressive areas like IT and Marketing. Hiring from within (people with the company for 20+ years) only perpetuates the massive challenges the company will continue to face. Recognize that only engineering and sales drive the company. Invest in marketing and IT.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Its a good package. Health insurance is good compared to others, time off could be better since employees are required to use their PTO for forced company shutdowns.

salary, bonuses, time off. more PTO accrual per year would be nice but current amount is very reasonable
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'm 35, and im paid less than 21 year olds that I'm more qualified than.
What are some of the best things about your team?
A lot of smart and skilled people.
they are all smarter than me haha
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They are a very homogenous group that is unwelcoming of darker americans.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Good attitudes and humor within conversations.
everyone is smart without a stick up there arse

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The company needs to start living their values: Work Hard, Play Hard, Move Fast. Its one thing to say you live those values, its completely different to actually live them. Hire more so people dont need to work weekends, stop offering off the books PTO when people can't even take their earned PTO
What did you like most about the interview process?
They really did evaluate and check sources of education and certifications.

What makes you most happy at work?
I love food, so free breakfast and a portion of lunch is covered. I like that we aren't micro-managed, just get things done and move on. Thinking about the future and what's next is interesting and sometimes challenging.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We have no idea how our customers view the company. We don't ask them. And when we do hear feedback, we can't react to it because any changes needed to improve the experience are delayed due to other internal projects.
