Frequent communication; strong efforts to be transparent with each other

Remote work is highly convenient
They pay well, though I question if even the pay check is worth the stress level that comes with it.
Unlimited PTO; competitive salary (which I negotiated); generous parental leave; remote work arrangements
RSU packing is good; compensation is good considering we are in ed-tech
Coursera benefits like gym compensation, etc.

My immediate team is great! Everyone is always willing to jump in and answer questions or lend a hand. They literally save my sanity on an almost daily basis.
Nice people - but sometimes comparison from managers unnecessarily breeds competition and striving
Everyone is extremely bright and committed to achieving the best possible outcomes.

My immediate team is great and I believe there are people at Coursera who genuinely want to make it a great place to work, but it is very chaotic and there is very little guidance or support from leadership, with very high (bordering on unrealistic) expectations.

Remote-first environment where you are expected to work only during your business hours (regardless of what time zone).
Before every interview, I was provided with a list of what would be discussed. It made prepping for the interviews a breeze and way less nerve wracking.
