A 10% raise now and then an anual 5% raise thereafter. Money is how you make your employees feel valued. Also there should be some sort of merit raise system implemented based off of individual performace along with the standerd anual raise.
Speaking up and being honest about issues when the rare occasion arises for them to ask what is wrong. Report verbal abuse
