Melania leads the Data Science team at data.ai and its initiatives to infuse data science best practices and AI/ML systems into the mobile analytics ecosystem. Passionate about solving data puzzles, she brings 10+ years of hands-on experience with statistical optimization and machine learning algorithm development. Prior to data.ai, Melania developed the first data science framework for survey designs at the National Bureau of Statistics in the Netherlands. Melania holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and degrees in Business Mathematics and Operations Research from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Academy of Economic Studies in Romania.
