Datadog was a workplace that was once built on love, trust, and communication, but that has now been replaced with gaslighting, exploitation, and emotional manipulation.

My immediate manager is locally known as one of the best in the department, and has sway as one of the longest tenured, as well as managing one of our best performers. Very chill, and seems to genuinely care. The entire department is one of the better ones at Datadog.

Being able to work on a global team with colleagues on 4 continents and over 10 countries has been an amazing experience. We get to all work together for a couple of weeks in person every year in conjunction with our holiday party and SKO - Unleash. I look forward to our weekly video calls.

stop micromanaging my work and focus on your area. Also quit the gossip and just do your work. And stop being crazy workaholics and learn to relax and enjoy life without having to check work email and slack every 2 minutes of the day including weekends.

The interview process was hard and fair, but above all else it was very transparent which was a welcome change from most interview processes

The candidate experience was excellent, super fast communication. The views were spectacular. The team really made me feel welcomed and that they believed in Datadog. I had the opportunity to whiteboard a solution with my now boss which was a good litmus of what it'd be like work together as well.
