My immediate manager is locally known as one of the best in the department, and has sway as one of the longest tenured, as well as managing one of our best performers. Very chill, and seems to genuinely care. The entire department is one of the better ones at Datadog.
My immediate manager is locally known as one of the best in the office. Has been one of the mainstays and is seen as responsible for much of the growth of the department. Probably the person I get along best with at the company.

Their energy, they are go-getters, intelligent individuals, and fun to be around.
Being able to work on a global team with colleagues on 4 continents and over 10 countries has been an amazing experience. We get to all work together for a couple of weeks in person every year in conjunction with our holiday party and SKO - Unleash. I look forward to our weekly video calls.

We move fast, tackle challenging problems, and are constantly interesting. we celebrate wins, and learn from our failures. We think methodically about developing new solutions at scale, and it's always great seeing how much we use our own product.

What did you like most about the interview process?
The recruiter who initially reached out to me and took me through the process became a friend and advocate in the organization
It was very realistic to the job
The interview process was hard and fair, but above all else it was very transparent which was a welcome change from most interview processes
Meeting with multiple individuals - someone from each level.
The candidate experience was excellent, super fast communication. The views were spectacular. The team really made me feel welcomed and that they believed in Datadog. I had the opportunity to whiteboard a solution with my now boss which was a good litmus of what it'd be like work together as well.
What makes you most happy at work?
The feeling of a job well done when i see the product and the customers reactions
Product line is exciting and great exposure to cloud challenges
