What do you like best about the leadership team?

Leadership Reviews

Commitment to growing the organization.

Transparency and honesty. They never shy away from tough questions and they are very open about what is going on behind the scenes.

Leadership team uses diversity as a talking point with no real equity or understanding. Juneteenth is "one of the holidays that the floating holiday can be used for"...I'm paraphrasing... Leadership team is focused on bringing share price up to ^ their equity but won't pay people more. Stay away.

Smart, engaged, driven, collaborative, human.

Joe is the best CEO, transparent at every turn and always looking forward to keep expanding the company

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

Benefits are decent, but 401k share could be better, and pay needs to adjust not only to "the market" but also to growing inflation and costs of living. The attitude concerning people leaving is resigned to "we can't compete w/ people leaving to make more".

Equity / Stock and stock purchase makes you feel like part of the profit opportunity!

Okay 401k match and constant room for promotions and merit increases. Been with the company almost 2 years and have gotten about 50% increase in salary during that time

The benefits package takes a significant amount of existential stress off of employees, allowing them to be less worried and more focused on work and family.

i like our sick time and our vacation days. very fair

What are some of the best things about your team?

Team Reviews

Great group of people who care about doing a good job.

Willingness to help each other out.

There are a lot of great personalities. The team is full of selfless people who genuinely care for each other and everyone pulls their own weight.

Remote work environment. People are caring as a whole -- which makes them prone to being overworked.

The writers are all incredibly passionate about their job, they want to put out quality content every day, and even through mental breakdowns and burnout, we continue to put out quality content, upwards of 300,000 piece per year.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

Being able to work from anywhere is a great benefit.

It's positively negative. The best thing is that we're all remote. Current middle management tries really hard but is bound by stock-price-driven upper management. It's a typical churn and burn company w/ high expectations and a disorganized, anything-goes culture and few formalized processes.

They've allowed the company to remain completely remote, which has allowed us to acquire talent from around the country. Moving also doesn't come with a need to search for a new job.

Again the company is constantly looking to the future and getting more employees and growing. They want to be the best and the industry and tbh i think we are the best in the industry. Constantly developing new products and ways to bring more relevant info to our dealers.

The office environment is very up to date and comfortable. There are many spaces for employees to move about that cater to all styles.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Interviews Reviews

How informal the process was

The people were friendly & accomodating.

It was never interviews with someone from HR, it was always employees in the department, senior-level copywriters that knew the work, and knew what to look for in a writer. They knew the questions to ask to get straight to the interview.

The interview process led the interviewee to meet many people at the company, providing a very fair and honest perception of the company.

What makes you most happy at work?

Outlook Reviews

First of all, I love what I do. DI gives me a positive and encouraging environment to perform.

Leaving work makes me most happy.

Being able to work from home, on a schedule that works better for me. The teammates are all quality writers, and many of them are in general just quality human beings with their personalities and quarks on full display. The feeling of openness about LGBTQIA and mental health among employees.

The coworkers for sure, we always have a healthy amount of conversation with working. I honestly wish covid never happened just because i miss being in office with the team so much.

Three work is every changing. Every customer is different and every case is different. With that, there is always room to grow and learn, and infinite possibilities.
