I left Deem ten years ago and decided to come back. The best of what I left is still there, and the challenging aspects have largely been addressed. It's a fantastic place to work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There's an almost start-up mentality, that we can change the world, and it motivates everyone.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I work in Sales, and I'm very grateful that Deem has managed to keep my compensation high, even in the absence of the kinds of sales we would normally be experience
What are some of the best things about your team?
I couldn't have said this about the last three companies I worked for. I truly look forward to engaging with my team--we all pull in the same direction and egos are generally kept in check.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Communication is so important in any organization, and I've worked at a number of places where it was lacking. Deem's leadership team does an excellent job of keeping its employees informed of company strategy and overall initiatives.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love the autonomy I have. I can work from 7am to 7pm some days, and 10am to 3pm other days if I need to get other things done. As I said, I really enjoy the people here--we keep each other motivated.
