It was pretty awful. Other employees resigned while I was working there in only a short amount of time. The management became very rude and disrespectful and gossiped about the employees including me to other managers while us as the employees were only a few feet away.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing my regular customers always brightens my day.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My management team does nothing to make us as the employees feel important or valued, and a place where the work environment doesn’t feel comfort
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive things about working at Del Taco is greeting and recognizing regular customers, also being able to be open with coworkers while working.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My fellow employees are nice and open with each other we enjoy working with each other, but the management is a different story they criticize and are constantly rude and unprofessional.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The management team needs to be more professional, and help newer employees rather than be rude to them and causing scenes in front of their customers. By far my worst job experience yet.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
I was not interviewed, I was told to come in and started working that day and worked 3 days without even watching the training videos. I worked with no experience and was complained at.
