The Developer Media office staff are all very kind and professional, they are Canadians. The US team, while remote are all very supportive of each other and everyone is working toward the same goal.

Right now, in July of 2018, we are rapidly growing and changing. It's fun and exciting.

Most of the salespeople work remotely so we meet weekly during our sales meetings and company meetings. Everyone is very nice. It's like a family.

Developer Media is a Canadian Company, so they are huge believers in awesome health care. I've never seen as generous a benefit package in any of my previous jobs.

It has not that I am aware of but so far there has been no reason to.

Every employer in the US has the right to drug test on demand. I haven't seen them test or do a background check, but heavy drug use typically doesn't mesh with sales success IMO

Understand the business by visiting the site first. Ask questions, talk about how you can help the bottom line. Your desire to help others and tenacious customer outreach and service. Goal oriented is key.

Developer Media trains its sales team step by step through the sales process and procedure. More importantly though is to have good people skills. The goal is the help our clients as best we can. Situational awareness and emotional intelligence helps the process.

The training at Developer Media is awesome! It is well-structured and really thorough. You will learn all about sales techniques, our industry and products, and will be an expert within a year. Our VP Sales is enthusiastic and has great depth of experience, learning from her is invaluable and will launch your career in this space.

The sales team is the only division that works remotely as the corporate HQ is based in Toronto. It's not a policy, its just that there are no US offices.

I only work half days. I can choose whichever 12 hours a day I want. Just kidding. It's flexible within reason. We are all accountable for our numbers and getting the job done but at the same time if you have a doctor's appointment, or need a day off you can do so. We are all mature, professional adults who are responsible for our own results and contributions to the team. Although I imagine if one were to take advantage of the situation, there may be concerns. At the moment the honor system works well.
