On the surface, dms tries very hard to be a great company to work for. There are a lot of opportinities around due to the growth by acquisition; however career planning and support is missing in most roles. There are deep rooted culture clashes between different orgs, communication is not a focus.

Employee retention, professional growth, communication, strategic planning, team building, hiring, mentorship, delegation, support, gratitude, cleaning old messes, and transparency.

Employee retention, goals, professional support, team building, defined strategies, transparency, delegation, planning, reduce secret projects, goals that arent aligned solely on making a billion dollars, humility.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We haven't had a team meeting since i came on...outside of a subset of the team...im not even sure whos on it or what my team name even is.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
No career goals, no career path, no career support, over worked, no plans to grow team, no support to build a team, people leave and we have to shoulder that burden in silence.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The effort to make benefits mostly fair has been awesome to see. Plans and policies are mostly meaninful and theres a lot of effort in place by HR to make sure they try to help. Remote work is the main redeeming aspect of the environment, thanks to the pandemic not leadership.
