Curt Behlmer — Senior Vice President of Content Solutions & Industry Relations at Dolby Laboratories

Mr. Curt Behlmer has been Senior Vice President of Content Solutions & Industry Relations at Dolby Laboratories, Inc. since January 6, 2014. Mr. Behlmer is a 30-year veteran of the motion picture industry. Previously, Mr. Behlmer served as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Theatrical Services at Technicolor, Inc. He served as the Chief Technology Officer of Entertainment Services at Technicolor, where he developed and sponsored technology initiatives across a broad range of production, postproduction, and distribution services. At Technicolor, he was also responsible for building a worldwide digital cinema services organization and completed state-of-the art audio postproduction facility on the Paramount Studios lot in Hollywood. Mr. Behlmer served as Executive Vice President of Theatrical Services of Technicolor Digital Cinema, LLC and served as its Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Behlmer served as Senior Vice President of Digital Cinema Operations - Technicolor Digital Cinema of Technicolor, Inc. In his career, he held technology and senior executive positions at Warner Bros., Soundelux Entertainment Group, Digital Cinema Ventures, Ryder Sound Services, and Lionsgate Films. He is Active in many industry associations and standards bodies, he is a multiterm Governor of the Sound Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a fellow of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, President of the Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, and a member of the Hollywood Post Alliance and British Kinematograph Sound and Television Society.
