Friendly and sympathetic, engaging speakers.
the team exhibits pretty good transparency
Experienced, willing to support innovation.
transparent, open to ideas, accessible
Not sure. Seems a bit anarchical where I am ...no sense of order, nobody takes a stand and actually leads.
Oh, I don't know... pretty uninspiring group doing as well as they can, I guess. I suppose they need to get better at everything.
Rampant decisioning based on job preservation rather than true growth. As a result emphasis is primarily on appearance and gloss rather than real innovation.
Going after larger growth opportunities.

Leadership is out of touch with the employees and need to improve communication. Annual 360 reviews of all managers should be a must.
Leadership needs to be better at transparency
9/80 work schedule is great. Pay and other benefits so-so.
Salary is competitive, except against big tech companies.
Every other Friday off and flexibility
Stock and espp. Decent salary
Great 9/80 schedule having every other Friday off is a life changer

The current management style is to compensate anyone who helps to maintain the perception of gradual improvement. Political animals will have a successful career at Dolby, all others will be ostracized. This is why it has 50% staff for >10yr span and the remainder churns over in short interval.
I wish the company were more generous with equity.

Smart people passionate about doing good work. I'm always sad when they throw my co-workers into the street each quarter.
Collaborative, cooperative, knowledgeable, willing to help
Willing to debate and it doesn't feel like there are winners and losers when you exchange ideas!
Overall, based on the biz model, there is gradual forward progress despite an undertow of opinion that meetings are largely dysfunctional. And they often are due to VP's forming contrary opinions at the 11th hour in order to appear politically cunning by spinning the narrative to under-informed SVP
Collaborative, open to helping and so smart!

Fewer cliques. Leaders need to reward leadership and discourage cliques or politicking. Must focus on results, not who manages up and bullies down most effectively.
Teamwork starts at the top. Managers need to be good leaders to help facilitate teamwork within and between teams.
team is pretty strong overall
My peers and even immediate supervisors are darn good. Higher up the management change its all political blah blah blah and moving boxes on the org chart and calling it "change".
The company culture values volunteering and giving back to the community. The general environment is calm and the people are overall interesting having many talents and interests.
Openness, People minded and connections, accessible
We can bring our authentic selves to work.

Gym . Spinning, salsa, windows.
Rebalance board power away from the dolby family. Clean house at VP and director level, remove the insane egos. Bring back SVPs with a backbone and wisdom. Live up to Ray's high technical aspiration again. Give Wall Street something real to bank on rather than glossy chicken liver.
Not super high pressure like Big Tech.
emphasis on engagement. transparency on politics.
Nice meeting space, kind people
Don't take so long to respond to resumes. Seriously, how many good people are going to still be around six months after they apply?
My co-workers are why I continue to show up.
Working on stuff I love, doing tasks I like. Good job fit.
The ability to do my best work and pursue cool tech
Accomplishing something, working and concentrating
Dolby products and the people i work with.
