At Dolby, we are committed to responsible business - respectful of people and the environment. As such, we are constantly looking for ways to make our business more sustainable and reduce the impact that we and our partners have on the planet.

To improve our environmental performance, we are monitoring our energy use and working to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. Our recycling and composting programs capture waste materials and reduce landfill waste. And, Dolby Voice delivers a dramatically better conferencing experience enabling productive meetings without the necessary travel, thus reducing the associated greenhouse gas emissions.

We look for opportunities to make our products more energy-efficient. Dolby products are free of hazardous materials restricted by the European RoHS Directive and REACH Regulation. Our products are compliant with the EU WEEE Directive and we have programs in place to reduce the impact of the eventual end-of-life of our products including electronic waste, packaging waste, and battery waste.
