Tia Sherringham — General Counsel at DoorDash
Executive Bio
Tia Sherringham serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for DoorDash, where she oversees the legal team, as well as the company’s information security & enterprise technology functions. Prior to joining DoorDash, Tia was a founding member of Instacart’s legal team where she worked as a commercial and product counsel. Before Instacart, Tia was an associate at the law firm of Keker, Van Nest & Peters where she represented clients in high-stakes litigation including Electronic Arts, Twitter, and Google. Prior to joining the firm, Tia was a law clerk to the Hon. Barbara S. Jones in the Southern District of New York. Tia holds a BA from Columbia University, and a JD from UC Berkeley School of Law. In addition to her legal leadership role, Tia was a co-founder of Women@ DoorDash (the company’s first employee resource group), and today serves as the executive sponsor of the Parents@ DoorDash ERG. She lives in San Francisco, California with her husband and energetic toddler.
